Final Sale / Store Credit Only

All parts are final sale. We do not provide cash, cheque, or card refunds.

An eligible return may be accepted only with prior approval and is issued as store credit. Keep your original receipt or other proof of purchase; the part must meet our return conditions.

Electronic Parts Are Exempt

Electronic and electrical parts are exempt from returns and exchanges. They are final sale and are not eligible for a refund or store credit, whether or not they have been installed.

Active Junkyard: Enter at Your Own Risk

Jan Auto Wrecking is an active working junkyard. By entering, you acknowledge and accept all risks. Entering the yard remains at the visitor's own risk.

Jan Auto Wrecking is not responsible for injuries, accidents, or damages arising from or involving equipment, vehicles, debris, or hazardous materials on the property. Stay alert for moving machinery, and do not climb unstable objects.

Visitors entering the yard must wear required safety gear, including a hard hat, knee protection, safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, and any other needed tools or equipment.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, purchasing our products, or using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our services.

2. Parts and Products

All used auto parts are sold "as is" with no warranty unless otherwise specified in writing. We make every effort to accurately describe the condition and functionality of our parts, but:

• Parts may show normal wear and tear consistent with their age and previous use
• Compatibility information is provided as a guide only - customers are responsible for verifying fitment
• We recommend professional installation for all parts
• Electrical components should be tested before installation

3. Returns and Exchanges

All parts are final sale. Returns or exchanges are not accepted unless Jan Auto Wrecking gives prior approval for an eligible exception.

• Any approved return must be authorized in advance and may require the original receipt or other proof of purchase
• Approved returns are issued as store credit only; cash, cheque, and card refunds are not available
• Parts must be in the same condition as when sold
• Electronic and electrical parts are exempt from returns and exchanges and are non-returnable, including after installation
• Shipping costs for approved returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error
• Special order items are non-returnable

4. Core Charges

Some parts may include a refundable core charge. Core charges will be refunded when:

• The old part is returned in rebuildable condition
• Return is made within 30 days of purchase
• Original receipt is provided

5. Pricing and Payment

All prices are in Canadian Dollars unless otherwise specified. We accept various payment methods including cash, major credit cards, and debit cards. Prices are subject to change without notice. Special order parts may require a non-refundable deposit.

6. Shipping and Delivery

Shipping costs and delivery times vary based on location and service level selected. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs. Large or heavy items may incur additional shipping charges.

7. Limitation of Liability

Jan Auto Wrecking's liability is limited to the purchase price of the parts sold. We are not responsible for:

• Installation costs or labor charges
• Incidental or consequential damages
• Damages resulting from improper installation
• Lost time or wages
• Towing or vehicle rental charges

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Jan Auto Wrecking and is protected by copyright laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our content without written permission.
